LATE REGISTRATION CLOSES ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 31ST
Online registration is open for ASM 2022, but closes soon! In-person and virtual conference attendees will use separate registration links when registering for the meeting. The deadline for late registration is May 31st! Onsite registration will begin June 1st.
In-person registration will provide ASM 2022 attendees full access to meeting content, including onsite and online contributed sessions. Register here to take advantage of the 101st Annual Meeting in-person and reconnect with your colleagues and friends.
Virtual registration will provide ASM 2022 attendees access to plenary and capstone sessions, symposia, members meetings, and all online contributed oral and poster sessions through the conference meeting site. Register here to participate virtually in the ASM 2022 meeting.
All ASM 2022 attendees will have access to virtual conference content for 6 months following the meeting. Please do not forget to sign-up for socials, workshops, and other a la carte items during the registration process. Contact Christy Classi in the ASM Business Office for registration assistance. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS & DRAFT PROGRAM
The scientific program will include contributed in-person and virtual presentations, as well as plenary speakers, symposia, and workshops. The plenary sessions will feature student Honoraria and Fellowship recipients and the 2021 recipients of the ASM Grinnell, Leopold, and Merriam Awards. Symposia will include topics in collections-based informatics, mammal life history, conservation of sky island mammals, and diversity in landscapes. Workshop topics will include undergraduate research experiences, student mentoring, species descriptions, developing CVs, and publishing in the Journal of Mammalogy. A capstone presentation from John Koprowski will close out the scientific program.
A full social agenda is also planned including an opening social, the annual Run-for-Research, two poster socials, an auction and student social, and closing social and awards ceremony. Transportation: Tucson International Airport has nearly 60 flights a day arriving from 17 major U.S. airports and is just a one-stop connection away from more than 325 destinations around the world. You may also opt to fly into Phoenix, rent a car, and drive down to Tucson. The drive will take you approximately 2 hours. For guests traveling by car or coach, Interstate-10 passes right through the heart of Tucson.
ASM CODE OF CONDUCT
Professional conduct is expected of all participants in ASM sponsored activities, including the annual meetings, and of any individual representing the ASM. ASM is dedicated to ensuring the opportunity for active, equal participation in all ASM functions by all members, regardless of gender, race, national origin, ethnicity, age, physical appearance, disability, or sexual orientation. Discrimination and harassment are prohibited by the ASM; no individual should feel harassed, threatened, or unsafe at any ASM sponsored activity.
