Please join us 17 to 21 June 2022 for the 101st Annual Meeting of the American Society of Mammalogists. The conference will be held in person at the Westin La Paloma in Tucson, Arizona, and will also include a virtual option for remote attendees. Learn about the latest advances in the study of mammals and interact with researchers and educators specializing in these fascinating animals. Come set the stage for the next 100 years of modern mammalogy!
The scientific program will include contributed in-person and virtual presentations, as well as plenary speakers, symposia, and workshops. The plenary sessions will feature student Honoraria and Fellowship recipients and the 2021 recipients of the ASM Grinnell, Leopold, and Merriam Awards. Symposia will include topics in collections-based informatics, mammal life history, conservation of sky island mammals, and diversity in landscapes. Workshop topics will include undergraduate research experiences, student mentoring, species descriptions, developing CVs, and publishing in the Journal of Mammalogy. A capstone speaker will close out the program.
A full social agenda is also planned including an opening social, the annual Run-for-Research, poster socials, student social, auction, and closing social and awards ceremony.
